Attended district school and the Nicholson graded school. Graduated 10 May 1894,
from Wood's Business School, Scranton, PA. Since then has taught school in winter
and farmed during summer. Has taught seven terms (in 1900) in Lenox township.
He purchased fifty acres of his father's farm all improved, and engaged in general
and dairy farming, besides raising small fruits for the Nicholson and Scranton
markets.
In politics, Mr. Snyder is a stanch Republican. He is a member of the Grange,
and one of the active and enterprising men of Lenox township.
