48. Benjamin TINGLEY was born on 24 Apr 1741 in Attleboro, MA. He died on 29 May 1828 in Cumberland, RI. A Soldier in the Fench War, enlisting in 1758. He was at the battle on the Plains of Abraham, but was not engaged. He was First Lieut. in Capt. Caleb Richardson's Co. from Bristol Cty., MA and Adjutant. He was commissioned by the Council of Massachusetts Bay in N. E., Jul 12 1776.

He was married to Sybulla FULLER (daughter of Noah FULLER and Mary CUSHMAN) on 24 Jan 1765 in Prob. Attleboro, MA. Sybulla FULLER was born on 6 Jan 1745. She died on 16 Jun 1782 in Attleboro, MA. Benjamin TINGLEY and Sybulla FULLER had the following children:
