The "LOS ANGELES"-class nuclear-powered attack submarine USS BREMERTON (SSN-698) seen in the Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, entrance channel during March 1987. Commissioned 28 March 1981, BREMERTON is homeported at Pearl Harbor.

USS BREMERTON (SSN 698) executes an emergency ascent demonstration for senior Chinese officers onboard USS PORT ROYAL (CG 73) in the Pacific Ocean near Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on March 1997. The Chinese officers were given an underway tour of PORT ROYAL a day before the arrival of three Chinese ships to Pearl Harbor.
