The "LEAHY"-class guided missile cruiser USS HARRY E. YARNELL (CG-17) pierside at the Norfolk Naval Base, 27 October 1984. The oiler CALOOSAHATCHEE (AO-98) is tied up astern. "HARRY E." served for many years in the Atlantic Fleet before decommissioning in October 1993; she is now (1996) being scrapped at Quonset Point, Rhode Island.
